Can I enlarge photos to be shown larger in the slide show?

Most of the pictures are shown only in a small size (in about 400*300 pixels) in my slide show I made even if I upload the photos in better quality.
What is the reason that the photos imported from foursquare from my android smartphone (only 8 megapix) are shown larger then the photos uploaded from my computer and have been taken with a nikon D5100 in 14,1 megapixel?
Is there a photo vizualization editing option in Tripline?

      At the moment we resize uploaded images to a max-width of 500px for display, and we don't have image editing tools in place. We plan to improve our photo support soon, and larger size images and other options are part of the plan.
