Map of the 2011 London Riots

On August 6, a series of riots, public disturbances and lootings began in Tottenham, Greater London following events at a protest of the fatal shooting of Mark Duggan by the Metropolitan Police. On August 7th and 8th, the unrest spread to a number of other towns in and around London. Latest reports indicate that unrest has spread to the cities of Birmingham and Leeds. We will update this map as more details emerge.
