The President and First Lady briefly met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Prince William and Kate Middleton) before a ceremonial welcome by Her Majesty the Queen in the Buckingham Palace gardens, where the president reviewed the guard of honor with the Duke of Edinburgh.
