South Africa

As many of you know, I usually take a trip every year in celebration of my birthday. This year I decided to embark on a month-long adventure to Africa to celebrate a milestone birthday. One of my life-long dreams has been to go on safari to Africa. I thought I would have to go to Kenya and take years to accomplish this until the aunt (Vasie) of a friend of mine, who lives in Durban, South Africa informed me 2 years ago that there were many game reserves in South Africa, and that I could go on safari there. Once I made the decision to embark on this adventure, the Universe stepped in, directed my path, and sent me a partner willing to share in my adventure. To that end, Robert and I will be visiting South Africa, Swaziland, and Zambia. The itinerary listed below is the result of months of planning, and hours of research of guide books, internet sites, as well as helpful pointers from those who live and have visited there. I am eternally grateful for all of the help that I've had, and look forward to sharing this adventure with family and friends as we move from place to place and when we return. I will try and include an update to each location as time and resources permit. I will also try and upload pictures as well. Bon Vonage!
